Courage to Succeed

Do you ever have the idea that you are your own worst enemy? Isn’t it time we re-framed that? Today, I am my own best champion!

My favorite line from any fiction work EVER is from James Herbert’s “Dune” when Jessica, the mother of the hero says “Fear is a mind killer”. I am fairly certain that my internal fears (not based in any reality, only in a lack of self-confidence or a concern that I won’t measure up to what others expect or need) have blocked me off from stepping out to live my dream for much of my life. Yesterday I heard a woman talking about one of the great gifts of maturity, that we can leave behind our fears and begin to enjoy who we are (thank you Denise Knapp of the Anchorage Senior Friendly Project!).

I don’t know if it’s maturity, faith, experience or a combination of all three, but stepping out into the business community with yourbusinesslifestyle.com is a true expression of who I am and who I have always dreamed to be. My vision when I first went to college was that I would work with and for small to mid-size businesses; my talents have always been in systems design and implementation; and my gifts are in coaching, facilitation and in clear communication. Today I wrap all of these dreams, talents and gifts into yourbusinesslifestyle.com and dedicate my action and activity to my personal mission, “to bring my clients financial success and personal freedom through the power of clarity and alignment, living their mission, inspiring their teams and operating efficiently”.

Today, let’s claim the courage to succeed!
